The house
Cowdray
A Tudor estate in West Sussex parkland, with the ruins of the old house on one side and the South Downs on the other. Everyone stays on site. Rooms are allocated, and you'll find yours when you arrive.

Friday evening, Saturday daytime, Saturday evening. Plus something easy for Sunday, a warm layer for late nights outdoors, and shoes you can genuinely walk in. September in the countryside does as it pleases.

Friday evening
Golden hour to last call
Friday is a slow build — sun-soaked and sparkling at the start, smoky and after-hours by the end. Dress for both.
Think cocktail party energy: vibrant colours, playful prints, a swishy dress, linen tailoring, a crisp shirt with the top button undone. A pop of red, a flash of turquoise, embroidery, a great pair of earrings. The kind of outfit that looks at home with a salt-rimmed glass in hand and equally at home draped across a velvet sofa three hours later.
Layers are smart (English countryside, September, you know the drill), and we'd gently steer you away from sky-high stilettos and anything precious that can't handle a little grass, gravel, or surprise.

Comfortable. Capable. Camera-ready.
Athleisure-meets-style is the brief: trainers, leggings or shorts that mean business, a tee or polo you don't mind getting a bit lived-in. Bring a cute layer for later — you'll want to look like you won even if you didn't.
Dress like you're being papped leaving a Pilates class, but could absolutely sprint, crawl, or out-think a stranger if required.

The big one. Dress for a fairytale.
Floor-skimming gowns or elevated cocktail attire — think romantic florals, soft silks, moody jewel tones, embroidery, a little sparkle through the leaves. For the gents, tailoring with personality. A velvet jacket. A bold lapel. A tie that has a point of view. Dark suits very welcome.
Comfortable shoes strongly encouraged — there may be a bit of walking, and we have plans for you on a dance floor later.

By car
Around 1 hour 45 from central London, an hour from Guildford, 40 minutes from Chichester. There is parking on the estate and you can leave the car all weekend.
By train
Haslemere is the nearest station, roughly 55 minutes from London Waterloo, then a 20 minute taxi. Book the taxi before you board — they run out on Friday evenings.
Boarding the party bus
You have reserved your seat, so now sit back and relax. The bus departs at 2:30 sharp from South Kensington — Cromwell Road, opposite the Natural History Museum. We will be at the property waiting to greet you.

Yes. Every couple has a room on the estate, and you'll find your allocation when you arrive.
How dressed up is Saturday night, really?
It's really up to you — we are just excited for you to be there. Just please remember to dress for the weather, and suitable shoes for a possibly wet walk.
What are we doing on Saturday daytime?
Outside, on your feet, for a good few hours. That is as much as you're getting. Wear the trainers.
What if I hate surprises?
Then next weekend will be character building. You are welcome.
What time can I leave on Sunday?
Depends on how late you were up Saturday night. Sleep in, consult the Hangover Kit in your room, and see you at brunch.
